Kremasti is considered one of the largest villages of Rhodes. It is located 11 km away from the center of the island, right next to the airport. A settlement that uniquely combines tradition with progress.
Along the main street there are wide, pebbly, sandy beaches, 10 kilometer long and resorts. The area offers many possibilities for accommodation, dining, shopping and entertainment. Besides tourism the inhabitants deal with agriculture.
Major attractions of the village is the Church of the Assumption, the Fortress of the Knights Grand Master Karetti and the Library. The village is famous for the festival of the Virgin Mary on August 15th.
You can access Kremasti very easy from Rhodes with dense and regular buses routes, taxi and rented or private car and motorbikes.
